Some of the projects here are dangerous, many of the HV and pyrotechnic devices are capable of doing you serious harm. The standard disclaimers apply: Don't be an idiot! Especially with high energy devices or materials. To put it into perspective, getting out of bed is dangerous, and most people drive around a tonne or more of metal on a daily basis, all charged up with several hundred kJ of kinetic energy yet manage to mostly stay out of trouble.
